St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows

Recently, we had the great honor of photographing Sydney and Jeremiah’s wedding at St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows in downtown Nashville. It’s the oldest church in the city, and you could simply feel the history by stepping through the doors. Their ceremony was one filled with love and reverence. Their great love of each other, their family, and God are of great important to them, and it showed in every aspect of the ceremony and the photos we captured.

War Memorial Plaza

After the ceremony we took a walk to the War Memorial Plaza so the bride and groom could have some time to themselves, and to take some fantastic couples portraits. It’s obviously a fantastic photo location, as we were not the only bridal party there!

The Cordelle

Their amazing reception was held at the beautiful Cordelle. The couple had also gotten ready for the ceremony there, and we were able to capture those moments of preparation. Sydney and Jeremiah both have theater experience, so they knew exactly how to look their best for the photos. The groom and his groomsmen even all had on a hint of makeup, which looked outstanding in the photos!

After emotional, entertaining toasts and a delicious dinner, the party turned into dancing the night away. Photographing the couple and the people they love dancing and having such a wonderful time was the highlight of the evening. The party was completely full of life all the way to the sparkler sendoff.

We are so happy to have been able to be a part of such a wonderful day. We wish Sydney and Jeremiah the best in their life and love!
